Ted Thorndike

Ted Thorndike is a longtime resident of Stowe, Vermont, with a strong connection to the outdoors and community life. Ted has spent years exploring the forests, mountains, and trails that surround Stowe. He is an avid skier, hiker, gravel biker and tennis player. In the Spring he can be found roaming the woods searching for elusive fallen moose antlers. His goal with this podcast is to tell the stories of Stowe residents and preserve the roots of this unique mountain town.

Micheline Lemay aka "Michy"

Michy currently serves as the Junior Alpine Program Director at Mount Mansfield Academy and the co-owner and operator of Rugged Adventures. She has coached and inspired thousands of Stowe youth over the years. Teaching and coaching in the outdoor environment blends together her two greatest passions. Michy is an avid skier, biker, and hiker and you can see her catching every sunrise possible at the top of a morning skin. As a breast cancer survivor she lives with gratitude and mindfulness and is in the midst of "MIchys Mansfield Million" with the goal of climbing 1 million human powered feet in a calendar year.

Neil Van Dyke

Neil Van Dyke, a resident of Stowe, Vermont, is a highly respected figure in the outdoor recreation community, known for his deep expertise in search and rescue operations. As a leader in Vermont’s wilderness safety efforts, Neil has dedicated much of his career to ensuring the well-being of those who enjoy the state’s rugged landscapes. His extensive knowledge of the Green Mountains and experience in emergency response have made him a go-to resource for safety in outdoor activities. Neil is also an advocate for responsible recreation and a cherished member of the Stowe community.
